Acquisition Marketing Manager
We’re looking for THE marketer
Trussle is the UK’s first online mortgage broker and launched with the mission of helping buyers and homeowners save time and money securing a mortgage online.
We recently closed a £4.5m Series A funding round and have been growing at pace from partnerships with companies such as Zoopla, uSwitch and Noddle. With these things firmly in place, we want to start giving some more focused attention to the wonderful world of online and offline direct marketing...for that we need your help
About the role
This is a role for someone who sees marketing as a science as much as an art. We have CPL targets to work to and hate to waste money so there is a need to apply the method of hypothesis- > test -> learn -> iterate/improve across everything we do and every penny we spend.
This role will be central in defining and executing the Trussle acquisition marketing strategy and will involve:
Responsibility for all digital marketing channels
Budget and autonomy to run regular ATL marketing tests
Working closely with brand and design to create the best campaigns possible
Working closely with data/BI to ensure we are monitoring performance
Performance analysis and reporting

A candidate who has had broad experience with, and exposure to, diverse marketing channels and means of acquisition, is flexible enough to build digital marketing accounts one day and help set up a billboard campaign the next.
You will need to have an eye for brand as well as the technical ability to collect and interrogate data to test hypotheses and refine propositions.
You’ll have the following traits:
A great communicator, and have no difficulty explaining complex things clearly and concisely to a range of people
Bold- you will need to proactively find and take punts on new channels
Tenacious- getting to an acceptable and manageable CPL from direct isn’t easy and will require iterations and
Attribution modelling experience
Comfortable with standard industry tools. Adwords, Mixpanel etc
Strong quant skills. Advanced Excel
An eagerness to learn everything you can about an exciting tech product
Ideally some start-up experience but with good technical grounding/fundamentals from either big company training or strong mentorship.
A keen eye for detail
Keeping a level head under pressure. We’re a small team doing very big things, and that means moving (uncomfortably) fast sometimes

Trussle is a fast growing and well funded startup with the grand ambition of making the experience of getting a mortgage simple, quick, and hassle free. Through technology, design and our expertise, we’re making a traditionally cumbersome experience smarter, faster, and more transparent - without charging our customers a penny.
We’re a small but diverse team of 20, some of us have spent our entire careers in the mortgage industry, while some of us are born and bred software engineers. Our office is based in Highbury and Islington.
