Digital health startup Baby2Body is building a personal health and well-being coach for women. We focus on bridging personalized fitness, nutrition and wellness to our global audience. Launched in 2018, our app has nearly a million users from 150 countries and is growing every day. We have plans to scale the platform for other life stages and new languages. You have

  • Proven experience with Kotlin

  • Experience with Android Jetpack libraries like Room, ViewModel, Navigation and Hilt

  • Experience working with Retrofit and OkHttp

  • Knowledge of Github actions as CI for Android

  • Exposure and/or interest in Kotlin Coroutines and Flow

  • Experience working with ExoPlayer and Screen cast

  • Experience working with Google Play's billing system

  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

  • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

  • Familiar with Swift and iOS ecosystem

  • Experience with caching, threading, and performance tuning

  • Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks

  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

  • Understanding of Google Play Store guidelines

  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

  • Experience with agile software development methodology

  • Experience with working in a team environment

We are seeking a full-time mid-level Android Developer to join our tech team and help rocket our Android app to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of Android Development. Your role will be to help us develop an amazing and personalised coaching app for millions of women all over the world. You must be a great developer with a good sense of humour and like a good challenge!

Salary range £50,000 — 55,000
