Help define the future of the drone industry (and beyond!).
As a Business Developer at Flock you will work at the forefront of the drone and insurance industries, establishing key partnerships and building lasting relationships with world leading technology providers, global distributors, governments, and customers.
Flock is rapidly partnering with drone software companies, hardware companies, and global insurance companies to pioneer Big-Data driven risk intelligence for the drone industry. You will cultivate these partnerships, find new business opportunities in the UK and abroad, and work closely with internal & external partners and customers to evaluate product and technology needs. You will represent Flock as a salesperson, speaking to and learning from our customers and users on a daily basis.
You will explore new markets to identify and pursue opportunities at will, working closely with Flock’s management team and investors to build a sustainable, global business strategy and partnership network.
Who are we?
Flock is a London-based, VC-backed technology startup, operating at the bleeding edge of both the drone and “insurtech” revolutions. We’re data scientists, designers, and engineers, pioneering the future of Big-Data driven insurance for drones.
Flock’s risk intelligence platform aggregates and analyses real-time data to identify and quantify drone flight risks. We recently partnered with Allianz, the world’s leading aviation insurance company, to launch our first product: pay-as-you-fly insurance for drone flights (see the press release).
We are funded by London VC Downing Ventures, alongside the London Co-Investment Fund, R/GA Ventures, and a syndicate of highly specialised angels (including big names in the automotive, Big Data, insurance and startup worlds). We are supported by Innovate UK and Ordnance Survey. We have been featured in the Financial Times, The Guardian, Mashable, and more; we have pitched to Her Majesty The Queen, and travelled the world to present our technology. We are a small, well-connected, highly energetic team from both academia and industry, based in Farringdon, London. We get things done at lightning speed, set optimistic objectives, and work hard to meet them.
If this sounds like the environment you’re looking for, we want to chat!
