Job Description

Vintage Cash Cow is seeking a Chief Growth Officer to join us on our journey to become the no.1 destination worldwide for people wanting an easy way to sell unwanted valuables.

With a seat at the leadership table, you will be continually involved in shaping the strategy of the Company and will bring the entire organisation along on the journey.

The primary role of the Chief Growth Officer at VCC is to work closely with the founders to craft a customer-centric growth plan and be accountable for successful delivery.

You will be responsible for scaling our existing B2C and partnerships in the UK. You will take ownership of New Customer Growth whilst managing CAC and improving retention and reactivation KPI’s. You will also be responsible for launching new products and services.

As part of our ambitions to become a globally recognised brand, you will be responsible for expanding the brand into new territories.

You will build, lead and develop a rockstar Growth Team spanning Brand, Performance Marketing, Customer Experience, New Service Development and Charity.

Experience and Characteristics

This role is perfect for someone who;

  • Has enjoyed and demonstrated tangible success working in a high growth and start-up/ scale-up environment.
  • Has worked closely with the founders and been responsible for the delivery of their vision.
  • Has led the Growth function of a D2C service.
  • Thrives on recruiting, motivating and developing team members.
  • Defines clear long term visions and the steps to get there.
  • Delivers positive performance management, instilling accountability for individuals’ part in the larger plans.
  • Can demonstrate how they’ve delivered customer centric growth.
  • Is exceptionally well organised, a ruthless prioritiser with high attention to detail.
  • Commercially minded and will know when to pivot or cut losses.
  • Is data-driven, analytical and evidenced based in their thinking and decision making.
  • Is entrepreneurial and resourceful, not afraid to experiment and take calculated risks.
  • Has been involved in or would like to be a part of fundraising planning and investor relations.
