Campus is Google's hub for entrepreneurs and startups, located in the heart of East London. 

Through Campus, founders, growing companies and their supporters, whether investors or developers, can find what they need through our altruistic community, open access workspace and best-in-class Google programs. 

We’re evolving alongside our community, and we’re keen to bring even more value to the members who use us every day, so we’re recruiting a community happiness coordinator to take our work to the next level. In a busy building, and increasingly noisy city, we want Campus London’s community to be the best place for diverse and altruistic founders with grit to start and grow their companies.

Summary: To lead curation and community for both our open workspace and wider member group.

Responsibilities


Curation

  • You’ll be comfortable using our CRM to assess and track the success of our members.

  • You’ll own our orientation process: where we share our values and start to forge the connections and give-back mentality that’s so important to our community.

Community

  • You’re naturally curious and the eyes and ears of Campus, and you know our community better than anyone. You’ll be constantly working to make the right connections.

  • You’ll work with our local team to define and run events to create connections and culture, whether that’s collaborating with our 20% Google teammates who lead our meetups for women and founders of colour or devising celebratory moments like Pride.

  • You’ll collaborate with our education team to bring unique Google opportunities to our cafe community

  • You’re also a confident speaker, and happy presenting Campus at internal or external events.

Requirements: 


  • You’ll have deep experience working with founders, whether that’s at a startup or a coworking space

  • Campus welcomes everyone from developers to government ministers, creative founders to journalists; you’ll be friendly, community-first and professional at all times

  • We may be a startup space, but wonderful customer service is important to us

  • With a busy inbox and so much happening offline, you’ll be detail-oriented but also great at prioritising your work

  • Flexible but focused, you are able to work independently as well as with the Campus team

  • We’re a small team so you’ll be proactive and comfortable diving in and helping out where needed
