We’re looking for an Software Engineer (interested in Python) to join our team at GrowthIntel: we're building a unique machine learning platform to help businesses grow fast and optimise B2B marketing. Core to our platform is the deployment of ML models and handling of huge amounts of data.

You’ll be able to work on our full-stack and have a real impact - working on problems in data engineering and web app development. We incorporate SOLID principles, design patterns, architecture and agile practices into our approach. You’ll get involved in:

  • Developing new features / products in a fast-paced team working in Python,
  • Having your ideas heard - contributing to the product roadmap / our processes
  • Helping shape the future of the team e.g. mentoring junior members of the team
  • Work with large amounts of structured / unstructured data
  • Planning work to meet customer requirements
  • Learn and grow - work on interesting problems, share ideas and tech knowledge

We're not fussed if you don't have a Python background - we believe good software is language independent - so if you've come from a Java / C++ / C# background, that's great too.

What we're looking for:

  • You have 3+ years experience in a team with an enterprise language such as Python, Java, C++, C#, Scala
  • You're interested in and (ideally) have some commercial experience in Python
  • Native or fluent English speaker
  • Based in / can relocate to London

It'd be great if:

  • You have an enthusiasm for writing well designed and well structured code
  • You're experienced with data modelling – e.g. applications backed by relational databases
  • You're experienced with NoSQL databases
  • You're passioniate about mentoring junior colleagues
  • You are / have been engaged in the wider tech community (organising/presenting at meetups, tech conferences, contributions to open source)
