We are looking for an Deployment and Customer Success Manager at District Technologies, an exciting, well-funded, smart cities tech company based in London.

District Technologies was founded by Vanessa Butz (Factory Berlin & Interchange), Patrick Morselli (WeWork & Uber) and Chris Darby (BCG Ventures). District designs and builds software for smart cities, partnering with large real estate investors and construction companies. Through a pioneering, artificial intelligence platform, we connects users to what they love around them, and improve the efficient use of connected hardware in cities.

As a Deployment and Customer Success Manager, you’re focus will be launching the technology for new clients, managing existing clients and gathering client and user feedback constantly to feed into the product pipeline. You will be our eyes and ears on the ground and working closely with our sales and engineering team to improve the product.

It’s an exciting role, in which you’ll thrive if you like smart cities technologies (IoT, AI, connected hardware, etc.) and working together with sophisticated players from a variety of industries and backgrounds (real estate owners, property managers, community managers, merchants, company representatives, etc.). To be successful, it takes an process-oriented mindset, customer satisfaction focus, a desire to learn and grow in the business.

Your role is to launch the District platforms in new developments, manage operational and administrative tasks related with the growth side of the business, create and execute on market analysis, marketing and growth tactics, and source and train the candidates for your future team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Leading and owning the strategy, execution, and results of launching the app in new buildings i.e DEPLOYMENT;

  • Designing and implementing tactics for fast user adoption and sustainable retention;

  • Create a strong relationship with our clients and manage their accounts from when they signup with us to generating more sales potentials with them;

  • Testing new features or product ideas with clients and users;

  • Owning the communication channel from clients and users to improve our sales and product;

  • Owning, managing and replying to customer support tickets.

  • Supporting the CEO with ad hoc tasks where needed

  • Analysing new markets and proposing new strategies for growth;

  • Sourcing, hiring and leading the launch team that you will create and grow.

Desired experience:

You are going to be very independent and really own this role with a large degree of freedom in how you manage your operations and team. We are happy to support you with our experience in highly operational companies (Uber, WeWork).

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial personality. Ideally, you’re:

  • Comfortable with managing multiple relationships simultaneously, professionally and with the highest standard of customer support.

  • Detail-oriented, able to keep complex initiatives for different clients organized exceptionally well and tracked;

  • You execute impeccably, and can do so with restricted time and resources;

  • Able to interact effectively with formal clients from large corporations (some worth millions of pounds to the company);

  • Independent and you can hit the ground running with little direction and supervision;

  • You love feedback and you are a quick learner - you are ready to become a sponge and grow fast in the company by evolving your skills and your role;

  • Interface in a clear and productive way with different functions, such as technology and marketing;

  • Love analytics and designing and executing strategies based upon OKRs.

Location: London, W1T

Remuneration: £35,000- £40,000 p.a. + early employee stock options
