The Elara Project
Elara (https://elara.io) is a disruptive, upcoming service at the cutting-edge of VFX.
Being developed by Foundry’s Pipeline-In-Cloud (PIC) team, Elara provides a complete VFX studio running in the cloud, available on demand. It features a full suite of creative tools, storage, dynamic rendering, quotas and analytics.

As a Frontend Developer in our London office, you will join a small close-knit team bringing this innovative greenfield project to market. To achieve this, you will use some of the latest and most exciting development technologies available.
Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you will contribute by writing code, developing systems, designing front-ends, authoring automated tests, and playing a part in the planning and delivering of projects and releases.
Your work will centre on the development of a variety of web-facing applications and UIs, to allow systems to be managed and monitored by users and administrators. There are also opportunities to engage in UI/UX design.

Able to provide time estimates to facilitate project planning.
Happy to document code and pro-actively contribute to software quality.
An experience of developing with Linux.
Successful track record of agile working in a development team.
Excellent knowledge of development tools and processes, eg TDD and CI.
An experience of commercial software development to deadlines.
Good communication skills, organisation, and time management.
Experience of front-end web technologies like Angular2 and Bootstrap.
Experience of version control systems, particularly Git.
Experience of containerization, eg Docker.
Experience of cloud services and virtualisation, e.g. Amazon AWS or Google cloud.
Knowledge of database systems.
Interest in other languages, eg Golang.
