Full-stack Software Engineer

Requirements

• We’re open-minded to background (no degree required), but we are looking for someone exceptional
• You’re comfortable using multiple programming languages
• You have 1-8 years of experience programming in a production environment
• You’re a great communicator capable of justifying decisions, proposing new ideas and challenging the status quo
• You have some front-end experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular etc.)
• (Desirable) You appreciate good design (UI/UX)

What the job involves

• You’ll be engineer #3 and will work directly with the founders as part of a tight-knit, multi-disciplinary team to translate product vision into impact as fast as possible
• Own code across our stack, with no limits on what you work on, from backend services in Elixir (with GraphQL + Postgres) to front-end apps in React/TypeScript
• Build features from start to finish, and deploy on a daily basis. We use GitHub and continuously deploy to a Kubernetes cluster hosted on Google Cloud Platform
• Develop step-change experiences from scratch which immediately impact 100,000+ candidates and 1000+ companies
• Get stuck in and bring your ideas to life to make a meaningful difference to people’s lives and careers
