About us

We’re changing the animal world, starting with dogs. In the UK alone, over a million dogs are homed every year, with over ⅓ coming from puppy farms (high volume, low welfare breeders). The industry needs to change for the better. Our vision is to create a mass scale transformation of humanity’s attitude to animal welfare.

Tailwise is backed by well-known industry veterans, angels and a major pet co. We were also one of Starling Banks top 15 Startups to Watch in 2020. Our experienced founders have worked at multiple B2C startups including Rover, Dogbuddy and HomeHero.
