We are seeking a Graphic Designer and Photographer to join our expanding team and help us design, launch and produce a new free digital monthly wellness magazine, which will bring together content from all our of websites, along with unique content of its own, and be available on multiple platforms (web, PDF, phone, tablet etc..). The role will also involve working with our other areas of the business to produce visual content for a range of campaigns and projects.
You will be responsible for taking on the following challenges:
Collaborate with the magazine editorial team to design and layout graphics for our new consumer e-magazine on a recurring monthly basis.
Produce graphics and ads for social and newsletter outreach, along with some web page design
Provide design support to the marketing function, Communications, Brand Awareness and Membership Marketing
Create editorial assets for all social media platforms where we distribute our content
Shoot, edit and prepare new photography for magazine articles
What can you offer?
3+ years of experience in graphic design and illustration for the web and print, preferably at a digital media outlet
Sophisticated sense of design, typography, and photography
Creative insight into product, packaging and brand design
Proficient with Adobe CS, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Experience with co-ordinating/art-directing shoots and commissioning illustrators
Strong attention to detail
Post-production and retouching knowledge
Strong collaborative skills and the ability to integrate feedback with a positive, can-do attitude
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Commercial awareness and the ability to understand target audiences
Motivated self-starter with ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
An authentic passion for creating amazing things
Knowledge of video production / digital animation would be advantageous
