inploi is looking for a growth lead to join our London-based team. This person will manage the growth function alongside the founders to allocate and manage inploi’s marketing budget, primarily across digital channels, as well as coordinating the activation, retention and monetization of traffic from these channels. A data-driven approach is essential, analysing the effectiveness of spend and optimising for low-cost, quality acquisition. A degree of technical know-how is required.

We are looking for someone who has read the growth hacking books, but more importantly has the initiative to implement this knowledge and the grit to get stuff done.

Key Responsibilities 

  • External Agency Point Person

We work with third parties to leverage expertise that would otherwise be very expensive or time consuming to build internally. Currently we work closely with an agency called Rebel Hack who are handling our Performance Marketing, SEO, Data Strategy & Marketing Automation. You will be required to act as an interface between inploi and these agencies, allocating tasks to the relevant team members, attending weekly scrum meetings and reporting back on progress to the founders. Perhaps most importantly, you will be gathering the knowledge and learnings from this process with a mind to implement these processes internally eventually.

  • Marketing Automation

Working closely with the product team to plan and implement data-driven automated marketing flows across multiple channels to achieve business objectives such as increased conversion rates, application numbers, job listings and subscriptions. This includes communications nurture, behavioural email and push notifications.

  • Data Strategy

Working closely with the product team to manage a comprehensive lean analytics data strategy. This will include identifying, storing, modeling, visualizing and transforming data for use across business operations such as acquisition, marketing automation, sales & reporting.

  • Performance

Managing our performance marketing across paid search, paid social and jobs boards. This will require you to deploy budgets, test and optimise campaigns and report back on performance.

  • Campaign Execution

Mounting ad-hoc omnichannel campaigns to engage our community, acquire users or grow our brand. Business owners from the community or sales team will brief you on campaigns, you will then work closely with the design and product team create, execute and report back on these campaigns.

  • Analytics & Reporting

Using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Branch Metrics and Segment to report on growth performance, KPI’s and bottlenecks.

  • Social Media

Regular posting of engaging, on brand content to our Facebook, Twitter & Instagram channels. Engaging our social media community with campaigns and responding to messages, tweets and comments.

  • Growth Engineering

Working with the product team and using your own technical skills and growth hacks to create scalable growth systems for user acquisition or engagement.


  • Some experience, preferably at a startup
  • Strong technical skills (preferably proficient in HTML, CSS)

  • Demonstrated success in designing, implementing and measuring growth strategies

  • Strong communication skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative
