It's the first on-demand, video-delivered learning and development platform built specifically for finance industry institutions and professionals. The content is brand new, curated and created by Finance Unlocked and presented by a global network of industry experts, each of them recognised as leading specialists in their field. We have clients spanning 4 continents, have just completed our Seed Investment round and are now ready to scale!

This is the perfect opportunity for a multi-talented and results driven marketer, with the ambition to make a significant impact on a company and market. You will be instrumental in building and executing the marketing strategy for this new, globally relevant product.

What we are looking for

We’re seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to generate marketing qualified leads, user acquisition and retention across all channels, including organic social media (LinkedIn, YouTube), paid social, SEO, influencers, content, email, newsletters, in-house PR and offline (events, conferences).

Working directly with our CEO and Chief Commercial Officer you will play an active role in creating the marketing strategy and conceive, manage, analyse and optimise campaigns to drive marketing qualified leads and user growth in line with our company wide strategy and financial goals. In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate will bring creative thinking to all marketing campaign planning. This is a highly entrepreneurial position that will require you to assume a number of different roles and constantly seeking self-development.

  • Help build and maintain the B2B marketing strategy (overtime build out the B2C plan)

  • Develop strategic acquisition and retention marketing plans to drive growth and maximise immediate and long-term ROI

  • Understand the addressable market, competitors, target verticals, clients, buyer personas and user personas

  • Manage the CRM from a marketing perspective

  • Own, maintain and manage the marketing funnel and lead campaigns end-to-end from conception to defining objectives, execution, tracking and reporting

  • Day-to-day management of online and offline campaigns across channels including (but not limited to: organic social media (LinkedIn, YouTube), paid social, SEO, influencers, content, email, newsletters, in-house PR and offline (events, conferences)

  • Continuously test and optimise new channels, audiences, bidding strategies, visual creative, and copy

  • Lead overall site conversion rate optimisation

  • Monitor, analyse, and report on KPIs to ensure marketing initiatives are driving direct results aligned with the company targets

  • Champion metrics-driven analysis and decision-making throughout the organisation

  • Think strategically, analytically, and creatively about new ways to reach customers and increase relevance

  • Think creatively and commercially to help in the business in the intersection between marketing, product and content

Essential attributes

  • 2-5 years growth marketing experience for B2B SaaS

  • A “swiss army knife” type marketer, with an extraordinary skill set, highly intelligent and a creative mind to overcome any obstacle - for example be data driven to optimise growth, whilst having strong content writing skills

  • Experience building a comprehensive marketing qualified leads and user acquisition marketing strategy from the ground up

  • Constantly up to date with latest marketing and growth trends

  • A deep understanding of the product (‘product centric’)

  • Thorough understanding of various online and offline marketing funnels

  • Very structured and methodical in order to manage the marketing process

  • A quantitative approach to problem solving, ability to use data to tell stories using data and identify marketing opportunities effectively

  • Experience managing organic acquisition, including SEO and referrals

  • A desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment and take on various responsibilities

  • Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done

  • Confident, presentable and able to represent Finance Unlocked both face to face and through video calls, emails and telephone calls

Non essentials, but “nice to haves”

  • Experience working for a Fintech, or Financial services company

  • Experience working in an education environment

  • Experience in starting a business or building something from inception
