Your Strategic Value to the Company

You will be instrumental in the Marketing team, helping distinguish Dataswift as one of the best startups in the world. You’ll join an agile team who have full control over all aesthetics of the company.

Roles and Responsibilities

You will lead the professionalisation of our marketing assets. You’ll be the first significant Design hire in what will be a fast-growing marketing team that will quickly become multi-disciplinary. It will be your responsibility to lead the design vision of the company through this team - while this is a part time role at first, we want to work with you to turn it into much, much more.

Marketing Products Design

You will:

  • Embody a focus on our users and customers in the creation of all marketing assets, driving our product and brand through every touchpoint - including the website, all socials, marketing products like microsites and mini-apps, and online and offline event-based materials

  • Completely control marketing art direction, rooting it in the visual design and artistic principles of the company.

  • Work with other design teams in the company, including those in the Product and Executive teams, but mainly with the VP and Head of Marketing.

  • Set up design to be a core competency and differentiator for Dataswift Marketing

  • Collaborate with other functions and develop brand concepts with our copywriters, marketers, and developers.

  • Lead user and customer research initiatives and other experiments to inform your decisions.

You will definitely need:

  • An original voice, highlighted in a strong portfolio and a keen eye

  • A leading and innovative awareness to modern trends - you aren’t afraid to set them, either

  • Proven UI/UX and graphic design experience

  • Familiarity with design software and technologies

  • Excellent communication skills

  • The ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

  • A high level of adaptability, comfort with the challenges that come with ambiguity and the ability to overcome them

  • Expert knowledge of startups and the tech industry

Here’s our recruitment process:

  • Step 1: Send us your CV and if you have the skills we’re looking for, we’ll set up two phone interviews with the VP of Marketing & Head of Marketing.

  • Step 2: If you are successful after the phone interviews, you will have a half hour video interview with our Founder, Professor Irene Ng.
