Head of Growth, part time (min 4 days per month), £1-5k salary (commission based), 3-10% equity depending on experience and commitment


Product: Breadcrumbs creates digital treasure hunts around Museums. Cryptic text messages lead visitors on a guided tour of their location, where they solve puzzles to discover hidden objects and secret stories. Our hunts are played by hundreds of people each month, who enjoy the mix of solving clues whilst experiencing museums in a novel, fun way.


Why us: We run Breadcrumbs as a bootstrapped side hustle which, with only a few days of work each month, has generated income ever since starting out. We were quickly featured by Lonely Planet, Secret London, Conde Nast and Travel Pulse. Our customers like our “great hunts” because they help them “experience museums in a new, exciting way”. We try to stay lean whilst growing the company in a sustainable way, using it as a fun way of learning new skills.


Your responsibilities:

  • Raise awareness, grow sales and build an audience through paid, referral and organic traffic

  • Develop a content strategy to keep our audience engaged

  • Work with our technical founder to optimise all stages of the sales and retention funnel

  • Build relationships with museums for offline marketing


What we are looking for:

  • Experience of B2C online marketing

  • Experience creating, leading and tracking digital campaigns. Both paid and organic content

  • Free to commit at least 8 hours per week initially, with the potential to increase hours as we grow

  • London based


Bonus points for:

  • Experience working in a startup

  • Experience in B2B marketing

  • Experience building partnerships with businesses

  • Experience in entertainment/museums industry


What we offer:

  • You will earn 25-40% commission on profit, depending on experience

  • A product that is already being enjoyed by customers and is ready to scale

  • A technical co-founder who will help track and optimise campaigns, and is good at making puzzles and other content

  • Existing relationships with museums

  • Flexible working time and location. We work from home, communicate on Slack/Skype and meet in person a couple of times each month

  • Generous equity share depending on experience and commitment. We want someone who will become invested in the company for the long term and want to see it grow.


About the founder:

A technical founder who likes making puzzles and spends the rest of his time working with medical publishers and researchers. Works as a freelance developer for Oxford University and runs a separate startup, www.penelope.ai.
