The company was founded in 2013 and is based in Spitalfields, London. We’re currently a team of 35 in London and over 300 across India and Sri Lanka. We’re growing quickly; doubling revenue last year to £3m, and raising £7.5m in funding to scale our business to the global vision we pursue.

Role & challenge
There are 17,000 primary schools across the UK and we’ve worked with just under 1,000 of them. With a disruptive proposition we've grown quickly but now we're looking for a Head of Growth who can transition us from working with early adopters to appealing to the mainstream customer - there are still 16,000 primary schools we haven’t worked with.
We’ve historically grown our business through sophisticated email marketing. Over the past academic year, we’ve used content to great success to grow our database, build an impressive brand and engage thousands of Primary teachers. We’re rapidly becoming known for our expertise and resources in Primary Maths.
Your challenge will be to lead our growth team of channel and content marketers (6-7 people), working closely with our product team to design and build our acquisition funnel and retention journey for the next phase of growth.
It will be up to you decide our growth strategy, channel mix, content strategy, acquisition funnel and retention journey.
You and your experience:
We’re looking for someone who has proven leadership experience, ideally in a similar role. Someone resilient and creative who thrives in a fast moving environment. You should jump for joy when people bring you new ideas or data and you’ll have an evangelist's touch for exciting an organisation with your vision for growth. If you have experience within education, even better.
Channel & Content Strategy Creation
You’ve worked on multi-channel marketing strategies (with particular experience in email marketing) with proven results. You understand, have experienced and can clearly articulate the power of a content/freemium led marketing strategy.
Product Vision & Development
You’ll have experience of working with product teams to devise (and optimise) a customer acquisition funnel. In particular we’re looking for you to have worked on a freemium model of customer acquisition.
However, though we’re building a scalable business we’re not a pure SaaS business. Our schools speak to our sales, support and retention teams throughout their lifetime and you will have an appreciation of the need to balance digital and human touchpoints to deliver the most delightful customer journey for our schools.
Entrepreneurialism requires creativity and risk taking but this must be underpinned by analytical rigour. You will have a demonstrable experience of conducting and using robust analysis to generate insights and input to decision-making, with an ability to challenge and be challenged on a numerical basis to ensure your decisions are well founded.
