We’re looking for a personable, brand-obsessed Junior Account Executive to join our fast-growing SaaS company.

Within this role, you’ll work with some of the most exciting brands across the world - helping them better understand the power of Advocacy and how the Duel platform can help them empower their communities of advocates. Using your charm, creative flair and your genuine desire to help people achieve their goals - you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end sales process - from potential prospect, through close, implementation and expansion.


Duel was founded by world-record-breaking adventurer and former brand ambassador Paul Archer, alongside viral games developer Naio Tsarouchis. They set out to develop both the technology and methodology that enables purpose-led brands to drive organic growth, powered by real communities of advocates.

Duel’s Brand Advocacy Platform allows mid-level to enterprise brands to do just that - scaling how they manage their relationships with thousands of advocates and brand ambassadors. This unprecedented ability to manage their communities is built around programs that engage and retain customers, accelerating word-of-mouth sales.

The Duel team is made up of psychologists, brand experts and community builders from companies including Amazon, Treatwell, Bain and Lululemon. The platform is used by brands such as Monica Vinader, Charlotte Tilbury, Rab, BeautyPie, KUHL, Tropicfeel and many more.

Your role will be to manage the end-to-end sales process for prospective Duel clients, from initial discovery through to account management, growth and renewal. You’ll take a long term view and help brands scale advocacy using our technology in the most appropriate way for their business.

  • Lead Generation & Qualification
    • Sourcing and building a network of marketing professionals at brands through email, LinkedIn and other channels

    • Networking, opening doors and developing relationships with potential contacts

    • Creating Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) to nurture through the sales process

  • Discovery Calls and Product Demos
    • Holding discovery calls with brands to help educate them on the various Duel offerings, as well as working out the best course of action for the support we can offer

    • Walk prospective clients through the Duel platform, explaining the features and benefits

  • Facilitating workshops
    • Work with the Strategy & Brand Partner teams to understand, scope and design Brand Advocacy programs

  • Close
    • Build and propose bespoke Brand Advocacy programs to brands, negotiating the deal and guiding it through to close

  • Account Management, Renewals & Growth
    • Work with Brand Partner & client teams to ensure program success

    • Grow & maintain strong relationships with decision-makers

    • Manage the renewals process, and identify opportunities for upselling & growth

  • Product
    • Through training, you will use your detailed understanding of the Duel product and how it works, and be able to use critical thinking skills to align a brand’s specific need with the power of Duel

  • CRM
    • Using our CRM (HubSpot) to track all your conversations so you never lose sight of the brands in our community

  • Market and Industry
    • Having a passion for the brand and retail industry: how it works, who fits in it and how to navigate it

  • 360 Sales Experience: Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development and/or Account Management experience in a similar role preferred

  • Ideally, you’ll have experience working in a high-growth tech startup


  • Flexible working hours - if you need to fit around childcare, want to work odd hours or need to do fewer than 5 days a week, we can make it work

  • We’re a remote-first company, so if you don’t need to be in the office then you can do the work required from anywhere in the world (Google Hangouts is a wonderful thing). Ideally, we would like you to come to London once a month to connect with the team.
