Junior Digital Designer/ Design Lead:

What will you do as a Junior Digital Designer/Design Lead?

  • Your responsibility over the design strategy will vary depending on experience. However you will be expected to grow into the position and take over more responsibility for the companies overall design function.

  • You’ll become a key partner to the branding function within the business and be seen as a valued contributor to the overall visual direction.

  • You’ll play a pivotal part in an upcoming rebrand.

Day to Day Role:

  • Provide design support to all customer touch points across the business- web design, in store pos, packaging, branding etc.

  • Ensure the visual brand guidelines are maintained across the company website.

  • Edit brand/product imagery.

  • Edit imagery from photoshoots.

  • Create assets for social media.

  • Create designs for email marketing campaigns.

  • Create landing pages and banners.

  • Ad hoc creative requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  • High level of computer literacy- Photoshop etc.

  • Good understanding of digital design: website design/production and the digital landscape.

  • Graphic design skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Detail orientated and holds visuals to high standards. You will be responsible for your own work.

  • Have a basic understanding and interest of optimised experience, click through rates and conversion.

  • Ambition to grow with the position and take more responsibility for the design function.

Bonus Requirements:

  • Understanding of video editing.

  • Understanding of web coding - CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.

Location: This position will be primarily located at the Waterloo, London office. Although there are opportunities to work from the Watford, Hertfordshire office also. At the moment, the team is partially remote due to COVID-19.

Salary: Dependant on experience.

You are not expected to have a lot of experience. We do expect a willingness to learn and take on responsibility quickly. You should have the confidence to provide ideas and a desire to become world class at what you do.
