In addition you will be expected to organise all development tasks, mentor the team and ensure work is completed to a high standard.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of 3-4 developers

  • Contributing technical expertise to our strategy and pipeline

  • Making technical architecture decisions

  • Controlling workflow and prioritising tickets for the team on Asana

  • Ensure tests are being written and QA is completed

Ideally you’ll:

  • Have led an engineering team before

  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge in both backend and frontend technologies

  • Have extensive knowledge of Node.JS and serverless architecture

  • Lead by example and write good, clean code

  • Love to solve problems

It would be a bonus if you:

  • Have used smart speakers, or even played games on them

  • Are passionate about gaming

  • Have developed for smart speakers

  • Have experience working with remote teams

  • Have experience building with git, AWS, Alexa, Google Assistant and Bixby
