We are looking for an ambitious person to join our small but growing team to help with the customer acquisition and marketing efforts. You’ll be helping to deliver our marketing and growth strategy but will also have opportunity to help steer it too. The job will have quite a wide focus, with plenty of chances to learn new things and push yourself, all with the aim of promoting and growing the ThanksBox brand. It will give the right person a unique opportunity to work at an early stage startup with high growth potential and with an experienced team.
We’re a small, young, fast moving startup based in Shoreditch. We are building communication apps for the modern workplace that improve relationship between employees and employers.

You are smart and ambitious. Perhaps you’ve got some marketing experience in another startup or grad scheme, or perhaps you’re just interested in how you can turn your talents to it.
You realise that sometimes working in a startup can be a bit chaotic at times, but that’s fine because taking on responsibilities and getting stuff done (rather than sitting in endless meetings) is exciting for you. You understand that the role can grow with you, perhaps one day you can become our future CMO!
You’re excited about working with the wider team to help shape our marketing strategy and then happy to dive into the implementation independently. You’re constantly keeping an eye out for any learnings and solving problems that occur along the way.
Here’s an idea of some of the things you might be working on. If you have previous experience of them, that’s great but not essential… What is essential is an inquisitive mind and a desire to learn new things.
Marketing campaign activity - creation, execution and analysis, this can include anything from writing blog posts and emails to setting up pay-per-click digital adverts
Growth hacking activities - taking an experimental approach to any new marketing activity, iterating until they deliver against our required metrics or are scrapped
Working out which campaign activity can reliably deliver results
Breaking down and understanding the journey a prospective customer takes from awareness through to research, into initial sign up or conversations and eventually becoming a paying customer
Using the analysis on the prospective customer's journey to help inform the spend we make on various levels of campaign activity
Attending events (normally with one or two other members of the team)
Building sales decks
Running sales demos for our smaller prospects
General stuck into any other jobs that pop-up (like writing job descriptions!)
Salary range £20,000 — 35,000
