This is a fantastic opportunity for a super-organised, great communicator, with a background in planning and assisting on data visualisation projects for all types of audience. Based remotely, you will play a core role in delivering projects, and facilitate communications with our distributed team of freelance talent on high impact work for respected organisations. You will work closely with both the Founder/CEO on the growth strategy alongside the interim Managing Partner and you’ll benefit from our new, sustainable work-life approach.

Background and skills
  • Prior experience in a digital agency/newsroom and a passion for data visualisation is a must

  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, confident with account management, client relationship building and presenting work and ideas

  • A background in data journalism is advantageous; you will have the expertise to prep data, maintain accuracy in charts, and talk data storytelling with credibility

  • A global orientation, able to run diverse multidisciplinary teams in different countries

  • Well organised, structured, and diligent, you gain praise for your planning skills

  • Excellent attention to detail (you know what great looks like)

  • Proactive, high energy individual with bags of self-motivation and initiative

Responsibilities
  • Deliver projects on time, on budget, and to quality by managing the full lifecycle, with assistance from the core team

  • To take specific ownership of client data and the story, ensuring your vision for the story remains intact and is seen through the process, whether via design or development

  • Facilitate communication as a central point of contact, delighting clients and encouraging the distributed team of freelance talent as to what success looks like

  • Become a Senior Producer in training, always improving your project management skills and building confidence in maintaining the vision of the work from end to end

  • Support the day to day operations; you will be able to pick up repeatable systems quickly and be proactive to assist the CEO and Managing Partner across the growth schedule

  • Able to spot and solve potential challenges before they become issues

  • Generate further credibility in the market by delivering on a range of initiatives including social media commentary, e-learning, hot topic data stories and key social events through the year
