Our platform is truly the core of our business therefore, the user experience is critical. We are on the hunt for a creative but logical mind to join us as a Product Designer. You will be working within the Product Team reporting to the Product Design Lead.

You will be making product improvements, as well as starting from scratch on new features across our platform. You will be working with multidisciplinary squads to design stand out user journeys that create a great experience for our customers. This means you will need to be empathetic towards them, as well as understand the problems they face and how they use the product.

Your responsibilities will include researching, wireframing and executing high-fidelity designs and prototypes. You’ll test and iterate quickly using design thinking principles as best practice. You are not afraid to experiment and fail, learning fast and adapting quickly. You will be an excellent collaborator and communicator, working in an international environment across multiple time zones.

Remote working supported. Occasional/infrequent travel to London may be required.

What you’ll do

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements/feedback in collaboration with product owners and developers
  • ​Conduct user research and provide recommendations to your squad and wider company
  • ​Translate concepts into wireframes and mock-ups
  • Prototype, validate designs, iterate and test with real users
  • Utilise existing and contribute new, scalable design patterns to our design system
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders and encourage a customer centric mindset
  • Understand the value of your work by setting KPIs to measure success and make data driven design decisions

What you’ll bring

Fundamentally, you will have great positive energy and bags of initiative, rising to challenges with a creative outlook. Ideally you will have experience working in a start-up/fast paced environment and will have most of the following:

  • ​Proven work experience of 2 years minimum as a Product Designer
  • ​A design portfolio demonstrating critical thinking, creativity and a high regard for simple solutions
  • You have strong research methods, especially writing and rapidly validating hypotheses.
  • You have experience with, or interest in, creating design systems
  • You can create high fidelity, functional prototypes with the tools that suit business needs.
  • Proactive self-starter with a solutions-focused, positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to work independently and take the initiative to respond to changing situations and priorities with a high sense of ownership, urgency and drive
  • Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
