Hardware Pioneers is a fast-growing media startup focusing on producing B2B events for the IoT (Internet of Things) sector. Our mission is to accelerate smart-products innovation through knowledge and connections.

We have produced events in various formats in the major technology hubs worldwide: London, New York, San Francisco, Boston, Seattle, Paris and Munich.

At our events and among our clients you will find most of the leading hardware and IoT tech companies in the world: Intel, Google, Microsoft, IBM, Avnet to name just a few.

Our audience is formed mainly by startup founders, technical decision-makers, engineers and developers working in companies of various sizes, from SMEs to large international organisations.

In June 2021 we are launching our new annual trade show in London and are looking for an aspiring Sales & Business Development intern to support the team in finding new potential clients.

INTERNSHIP MISSION

Your main mission will be finding and reaching out to new leads to ensure the company’s sales goals and targets are met. You will use our CRM to fill the sales pipeline with new opportunities, manage our prospecting tools, and set up meetings with qualified leads.

OUTCOMES

- Generate leads, through outbound research, following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings, engaging and helping to close leads.

- Strategically source new prospects using LinkedIn, provided prospects lists, etc.

- Obtain prospects information such as company name, contact name, email address, and other information.

- Develop sales opportunities via cold emails.

- Work closely with the team to provide help and support where needed.

CRITICAL COMPETENCIES 

Skills

- Communication: Your English must be native or highly proficient. You possess excellent copywriting and proofreading abilities.

- Organisation and efficiency: You are able to produce significant output with a minimal waste effort. You are able to plan effectively your time and key priorities in a productive manner.

Expertise

- Sales: Experience/university background in sales or marketing is recommended.

- Qualification level: Business bachelor degree is a plus.
