This is a new role at MUSO to help to shape the experience of MUSO’s ‘Software As A Service’ product at a key stage in our evolution.

Your tasks

  • Product Vision: Work with stakeholders (including product owner, designer, tech team and marketing) to define and uphold the product vision and goals for how the product should be experienced.

  • User Research: Conduct user testing and research to inform your design decisions. Create user profiles, personas, use cases, user scenarios, storyboards and any other artefacts necessary to model the systems users.

  • Product Development: Work at all stages of the product development lifecycle, from research and conception through to prototyping and delivery.

  • Collaboration: Partner with the experience lead and founding team members on project requirements. Actively engage with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes.

  • Prototype, Test and Iterate: Create and iterate testing of wireframes, and low-fi prototypes.

  • Troubleshoot: Create heuristic evaluation, competitive analysis, and usability methods as appropriate.

Your profile

  • 4+ years experience in an experience design role, preferably on SaaS-based products or dashboard interfaces

  • Proven skills in customer centric research, service design and information architecture

  • Demonstrable high-level designs and problem-solving skills evident in your portfolio

  • Can work as part of a connected team, feeding into principal support to create a holistic customer experience

  • A great communicator and have the ability to take direction and add their own spin to a piece of work

  • Self-motivated as well as team orientated

  • Be aware of current research, UX and communications trends along with the latest emerging technologies

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HCI, Cognitive Science, User Centered Design, Fine Arts or other related field, or equivalent experience

  • Extensive experience in UX design (in-house or client-side) designing digital products and features for mobile or desktop, native or web

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree

  • Experience in designing and facilitating group collaboration sessions
