Campusboard is a location-based social-network that helps the 2.4 million university students in the UK find accommodation, trade textbooks and other unwanted items with each other.
We are looking for someone that loves working with social media to help us reach as many UK university students as possible and ultimately establish Campusboard as one of the new exciting brands in the university student market. This will be an exciting opportunity to join an early-stage startup and be directly responsible for making a significant impact in growing the company from the ground up.
The role will be based in London. Start Date: Immediately.

Develop and execute Campusboard’s social media strategy for both short term reactive work and long term vision.
Successfully develop and launch relevant campaigns that go viral among our key audience, substantially growing our brand awareness and account following while maintaining our ToV. You can see our current Instagram account for reference: www.instagram.com/campusboard
Create exciting and engaging daily content that will drive interest.
Manage the weekly social calendars to ensure all campaigns have a strong social element to drive awareness, engagement and advocacy.
Monitor, manage and engage with customers in real time.
Consistently deliver high performance, reach, and quality lead generation from all social media activities.
Identify key online influencers to partner with to further increase our brand awareness.
Represent Campusboard brand and be the face of it.
What we are looking for:
You have experience successfully running and growing one or several social media accounts. Ideal candidate has a popular personal social media account, blog or a YouTube channel.
Experience working with the 18-24 audience: you know the tastes of your audience, what they are interested in, what content they want to see and can use this knowledge to successfully engage with them. You stay up to date with latest trends in popular culture, fashion, etc.
Extremely results oriented and highly organized with a reputation for achieving goals. If you are a current university student you must be able to effectively balance your university work with your job, completing all your responsibilities on time.
Stellar communication skills, both written and verbal. Impeccable English.
Strong work ethic and professional attitude.
Great copywriting skills (social media, blog posts, newsletters, etc).
Extreme attention to detail and accuracy as all your work will be directly representing our brand.
Demonstrated eye for design and creative taste level.
Good knowledge of photo & video editing software and ability to quickly create digital content in both formats.
Experience in PR and building partnerships with online influencers is a big plus.
Any YouTube or video experience is a big plus. Experience running or currently running a YouTube channel is a big plus.
