  • Would you like your work to benefit millions of people, thousands of businesses, governments and other groups around the world?

  • Are you passionate about data, and interested in helping people get access to their own data? Can you harness data to help users get more from a product?

If so, we have the ideal opportunity for you. We’re looking for an incredibly talented Software Engineer to drive our award-winning desktop products.

Job Mission

The mission of the Software Engineer is to build and enhance our products on macOS and Windows. Success is measured by revenue from in-app conversion, and by release quality.

Job Outcomes

You will have succeeded in this role if you achieve:

  • Increased in-app conversion month on month

  • Increased in-app renewals and upgrades month on month

  • Increased user satisfaction

  • Clear insight into the app’s performance

  • Consistent use of best practise in components and patterns

  • An orderly kanban and a clear, demonstrable plan for delivery

This is who we are

Reincubate enables its customers to access data from their own apps and devices, which otherwise remains inaccessible. Our mission is to democratise access to app data, so individuals and companies can do more with their own data on a transparent and ethical basis. Our vision is to help 10% of the world create value with their own data.

At Reincubate, we serve consumers, small businesses and law enforcement with the iPhone Backup Extractor. Reincubate’s APIs for iCloud, iOS, and other mobile devices serve parental monitoring, CRM, insurance and compliance needs. The iPhone Backup Extractor allows our users to examine data managed by Apple and many third-party apps (including Google, Facebook and Microsoft), both in the iCloud and on their device.

HM Queen Elizabeth II recognised Reincubate in 2017 and 2018 with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise. The award is the UK’s highest official business honour, and reflects Reincubate’s performance with international sales, and innovation in building the iPhone Backup Extractor.

The iPhone Backup Extractor helps people access their data in ways that they couldn’t otherwise -- we don’t retain this: it’s yours, not ours! -- and that level of access makes it particularly noteworthy.

  • In a world with increasing concern around tech companies collecting and selling personal data, our products empower individuals to access data held on them by tech companies

  • With Europe’s GDPR data protection law pending, we have pioneered technology that companies are now required to build and adopt to safeguard personal data (and have opened our own technology for others to build on)

  • Reincubate iPhone Backup Extractor was the world’s first consumer tool (2008) for accessing iPhone data, and subsequently the first to introduce encryption support, iCloud access, and an API

  • Through the feedback of millions of our users, Reincubate is rated one of the UK’s top 10 most loved software companies by TrustPilot, with a near-perfect 9.7 out of 10
