About The Future Forest Company

We are on a mission to stop climate change by removing CO2 from the atmosphere at scale. We buy land and co-deploy three negative emissions technologies - reforestation, biochar, and enhanced weathering - to maximise our impact. We’re on a path to 50k hectares of land holding, allowing us to plant 50 million trees and sequester millions of tonnes of CO2 every year.

About the role

Our team is growing quickly. You’ll work directly with the COO to create and implement our strategy to build the team. Talent is very important to us, and we want to be world-class in attracting and retaining a diverse set of the best people.

We want to do all of our hiring ourselves rather than working with recruitment agencies, so experience in end-to-end hiring is essential. Specifically, we’re looking for experience in:

  • Creating a hiring plan

  • Building and maintaining high quality, diverse talent pipelines

  • Writing job descriptions and managing advertisement of roles through the best channels

  • Designing an interview process and interviewing candidates

  • Offering candidates

  • Creating and implementing an onboarding strategy

  • Monitor and report on team diversity over time

Who you are

  • 3+ years in talent acquisition

  • High growth startup experience

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills

  • Passion for people and understanding of the importance of high quality, diverse talent
