Who we are

Humanising Autonomy is a London-based startup that is building a global standard of how autonomous systems will interact with people.

We are building a human intent prediction application that is able to recognise and predict pedestrian behaviour using computer vision and AI. The main application is in automated and autonomous vehicles, to improve the safety, efficiency, and pedestrian interaction in different urban environments around the world.

Our current partners include Airbus, Daimler-Mercedes Benz, Cisco and Kyocera, with whom, amongst others, we are working to deploy our technology globally at a large scale.

The role

As employee number 11 you will be responsible for creating interfaces for our technology, both as demos and visualisations for our clients, as well as internal tools for the tech team.

This would primarily involve running and visualising the outputs of deep learning / computer vision models on video data, as well as conceptualising and developing tools to streamline internal processes.

The role is ideal for somebody with a background in computer science / programming, who is looking to exercise and develop their skills in user interaction and user experience design.

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Python

  • Industrial / academic experience of implementing real projects

  • Experience with OpenCV / other graphics packages


Would be Useful

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)

  • Interest in human machine interaction / visual design

  • Interest in AI / deep learning

  • Experience with LINUX


Qualifications

BSc/MSc degree with high level of Software Engineering (Computer Science, Engineering) or industry experience showing a similar level of thinking.

Salary range £25,000 — 35,000

Dependent on experience
