For our logistics center in Oelde, we are looking

for one for the training year 2021 (from August 2021): Trainees for the profession: Mechatronics

(m/f/d) Working days: Mon – Fri
Start date: 01.08.2021

Our training programs combine theoretical and practical learning and are a great opportunity to acquire all the skills necessary for successful professional development.

As a trainee for the field of mechatronics, you will be trained: in the installation, maintenance, assembly and repair of mechanical and electronic operating, production and conveyor

technology. You will acquire qualifications in metalworking and electrical engineering, as well as basics of hydraulics, pneumatics and control technology. Measuring, testing and programming components rounds off the expertise of the mechatronics engineer.

The training ends with the passing of the final examination before the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Vocational training lasts 3.5 years and takes place in the company, external training workshops as intercompany training and vocational school.

As an apprentice in our RME teams, you will have the opportunity to apply and deepen your knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom, directly on site, with a team of experienced technicians and engineers.

We enable you to develop and apply solid technical, interpersonal and communicative skills through a detailed and advanced training

plan. These include organization of workflows, planning and management of priorities, adaptability, problem-solving methods, error analysis, communication and presentation of complex issues, as well as teamwork with other trainees and RME team members.

Thanks to your 3.5 years of training, you are well prepared for an interesting job as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician in one of our teams at Amazon.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Necessary qualifications:
At least 16 years old
A successful secondary school leaving certificate or Abitur or a degree from the
vocational school of electrical engineering or mechatronics, metal technology. Satisfactory achievements in mathematics and
physics Fluent knowledge of German
in words and writings Computer Skills (MS Outlook,
Word, and Excel) Craftsmanship and technical understanding
as well as interest Safety awareness in the
handling of electricity and machinery We rely on people with team spirit, a willingness to take responsibility,
the ability to work independently and the willingness to work shifts during and after training. High willingness to learn and perform

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Desirable qualifications:
(Specialist) Abitur with a focus on physics, mathematics,
electrical engineering, mechatronics Good knowledge of English - or any other European language (Spanish, Italian, Polish, Czech, etc.) - in word and writing
Prior knowledge from a technical field, ideally first job-preparation experience (e.B. in the course of an internship).
