We are looking for an experienced user-experience (UX) Researcher able to understand our business requirements and user data, conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes and prototypes. The UX Researcher will also be expected to iterate on our digital products in accordance with user-testing.
Hypothesise and learn about how our customers use our digital systems, and champion improvements to their experience.
Work with the product manager by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for our digital products and website.
Lead decision making on user-experience decisions related to our core, and new, functions and features.
Champion the users for the organisation, ensure the user is at the heart of all discussions and designs.
Continually reflect, analyse and research our current user behaviours beyond the current feature(s)
Advocate and uphold good research practices and method design, from protocol and discussion guide development to data collection and management.
Previous experience where your main role was UX Researcher, preferably in more than one company.
Proficiency in software such as Sketch, OmniGraffle, InVision.
Extensive experience in using UX research best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
Can demonstrate a reasonable grasp of data and analytical approaches to understanding user behaviour; knowing when qualitative and quantitative arguments are appropriate.
A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate their processes, key ideas, and solutions to teams.
Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation, especially help introduce new research and showcase knowledge to the wider team.
