Role Title: VP Sales

Reporting to: CEO

Salary: £ Based on Experience - Equity-only compensation for year 1 (along with all the Leadership Team members)

SkuSpring is an exciting startup that enables Brands to easily discover opportunities based on shopping data.

Job brief

We are looking for a VP Sales that will lead the sales initiatives and team and develop the strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization. Specific responsibilities include business and market development, customer management, strategic direction for promotion and advertising, sales growth and customer satisfaction. The VP will also oversee the sales and marketing team members’ daily activity and development.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a full or part-time sales leadership role involving global FMCG brands.

Responsibilities

  • Be our number one direct salesperson in our current state, then build and manage the sales organisation

  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to build the marketing content and team

  • Collaborate with VP Commercialisation to support the building of the Retail Network

  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals

  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction

  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting

  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities

  • Assist with hiring and inspiring your colleagues and staff globally

  • Live and help define the company values


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a sales and marketing leader with big brand sales experience, ideally within the FMCG space, especially in the US

  • Experience hiring and building teams

  • A natural curiosity and a “big picture” mentality

  • Excellent organizational abilities

  • Above average communication skills
