The role of the Youth Progression is to ensure the smooth transition of each young person we support through Iconic Steps’ “Young Person Journey” and capturing this information for monitoring and evaluation.

Through the role you will be providing 1-2-1 support, this is the heart of what we do and the reason why the company started. It’s vital to ensure we are truly supporting and helping the young people achieve their desired goal and into employment.

Success in this role is seeing the progression of the young people - into employment and in their everyday life -through the young people embodying a Growth Mindset.

Key Accountabilities    

- 1-2-1 meeting with the young people

- Ensure young people are attending courses on a regular basis

- Relationship management with media partners to source job opportunities for the young people

- Establishing new relationships with media partners for the purposes of sourcing job opportunities

- Act as a source of support for young people on the programme

- Monitoring and evaluation
