We're a FinTech who simplify the annoying company expenses process with a smart payment solution, built using cutting-edge technology with a side of creativity. We’re ambitious and we've set ourselves multiple targets and objectives, but our primary challenge is to revolutionise business expenses. Expend saves time, hassle and money, giving companies a new level of expense automation and efficient control over budgets and employee spending.

We are working within a huge sector mainly dominated by big companies using outdated approaches. It is in massive need of change and we aim to revolutionise the industry. We provide mobile app, online, card and payment products as part of an intuitive solution with unique functionality. We integrate and form partnerships with numerous financial and service companies, many of which you will know.

The Role

We are looking for a talented individual to undertake a personal assistant, operations, and admin executive position and join our team in the heart of Shoreditch, London. You will be using your knowledge to help support the operational side of Expend and work across various disciplines .

This role includes the incentives of company stock options. Our core team are all shareholders so everyone's interests are aligned to drive the company to reach it's huge potential.

The role encompasses the following:

We're on the hunt for a great all rounder to improve our company operations. From supporting general operations such as assisting with recruiting, setting up meetings, managing basic accounts/payroll, helping with customer admin and handling partner enquiries.

We're a growing company who need someone who is a fast learner, can juggle multiple tasks, obsessively organised and continually find efficiency improvements.

We like individuals who are not afraid to voice suggestions. This candidate must be have excellent written and communication skills, be highly punctual and be comfortable representing the company in a professional manner.

There will be opportunity to perform other suitable work dependent on skills (we actively promote employee's to broaden their skill set).

The Ideal Candidate

Excellent communication and written skills
Obsessively organised and continually hunting for efficiency improvements
Excellent attention to detail
Not phased working in a startup environment where they may be tasked with something completely new (job diversity!)
Can take ownership of tasks but still work well within a group
Fast learner
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise objectives
Can work to deadlines
Energetic and highly motivated
Highly punctual and polite
Has the ability to understand our product (and audience) at a deep level
Ability to handle payroll, HR, employee holidays and basic accounting tasks (this can be taught)
Confidence, self awareness and a desire to improve your skills
and most importantly: energy, drive and a passion for helping to provide great products and assist growing the company.

Bonus points

English Degree or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience
Agile environment experience
