About the role:
As a backend engineer at Stasher you’ll be responsible for building core api features to support our site or commercial partners, as well as improve our internal tools and systems. Your day might range from working on our core API, to planning out architecturally how we’ll deliver a new feature, to managing and mentoring junior engineers.
We’re looking for developers with clear ideas about how to engineer features that are going to be easy to maintain, scale and build on top of. We’re a small team which comes with a lot of responsibility and autonomy, so the ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys not just writing code, but also figuring out the requirements and designing the solution.
Our stack is Python + Flask, Postgresql, Celery + RabbitMQ.
2+ years professional experience
Strong experience designing and implementing backends
Ability to hit the ground running with our stack or learn quickly
Can strike a good balance between quality and quantity of work
Great workspace in Shoreditch for non-remote workers or an allowance for local co-working

Salary range £45,000 — 65,000
