Patient, based in Moorgate, is home to a rapidly growing team of designers & engineers who want to help the world proactively manage its healthcare.

We are a globally focused company designing and developing the future of how people digitally interact with healthcare services; by providing an innovative new marketplace we want to become “Earth’s favourite On-demand healthcare remedy”.

The Role

We’re looking for Cloud Services Engineers to join our team to build out and up the underlying services of our platform, work closely with off-site development teams to ensure consistent and high quality work, integrate existing services and collaborate closely with our client and frontend developers/designers to innovative and create a world class personal health experience. Candidates ideally should have several years of professional development experience with ideally 4 or more years in industry and a proven track-record of delivering and running cloud based services.

You’ll be working in a small, multidisciplinary team that creates products to delight users with great functionality, new technologies and interaction models. You’ll be part of the creative process from ideation to shipping – rapidly prototyping concepts, solving problems, connecting services and helping us create new experiences.

Your Experience

You’re a service software developer with a stellar track record and you love to learn and tackle new challenges. You want to be engaged and collaborative with others in a newly created development team. You’re enthusiastic about applying your development talents and experience to create incredible shipping software, and have a pragmatic approach to getting things done.

An interest in health and fitness or experience in a services industry is an advantage, but we care more about your ability to learn quickly and understand new concepts than anything you’ve done in the past. That said, you should have experience writing and maintaining Azure C# .NET based services, delivering and ensuring quality through use of a Continuous integration life cycle, operating in a Dev Ops environment, familiar with Azure’s PaaS offerings and of course be able to design and deliver performant service solutions that scale.
