Content & Social Media Marketing Specialist
We are looking for a talented content writer and social media specialist to join the Growth and Marketing team at ev.energy. In this role, you will be responsible for creating informative and valuable content for our B2B and B2C audiences as well as translating our business tone onto our social media for consistency across all outward facing channels.
Day to day, you’ll work closely with the growth team to develop content that focuses on our products, partners, customers and industry with the goal of driving growth in user downloads and engagement. You will also work closely with our customer success team, PR and digital agency to ensure consistent tone and interaction across our social media channels.
We’re looking for a candidate with a proven track record of creating content that distills and explains complex topics in a manner easy to comprehend as well as being resourceful and creative in their approach. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this position will be fully remote, ideally positioned within CET or GMT time zones however open to candidates in the US in the EST zone to bridge US and European markets.About ev.energy
ev.energy enables consumers to charge their EVs in the most cost-effective and least carbon-intense way possible, whilst saving them money. We partner with utilities, charger manufacturers and car manufacturers to deliver tariffs and products that deliver cheaper, greener and simpler EV charging.

To create rich, informative, SEO optimised, valuable content for our B2B and B2C audiences.
To align our businesses voice and tone across all outward facing channels.
To generate and maintain the businesses social media content.
To manage social media interactions in partnership with Customer Success and the digital marketing agency.
To support content creation and refinement for customer emails and wider website content.
To assist in developing content that supports speaking engagements at industry events.
To have a hands-on approach to all areas of the role and marketing tasks.
To assist in alignment of content topics and promotion between PR agency, product teams, and active campaigns.
A proven track record (1-2 years) within a content writing, social media, or similar role
Expert knowledge of all main social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Houzz, YouTube, Pinterest)
A real passion for content creation and copywriting
Knowledge of paid advertising
An ability to tailor messaging to the right audience
Great attention to detail with a creative mindset
Pro-active and self-motivated
Comfortable with managing your own workload
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Experience within the energy or automotive sector would be a plus.
Experience working in a marketing/PR agency, VC or startup environment would be a plus.
A passion for using technology to drive actionable change for good.
Experience with any design tools such as Adobe or Canva would be seen as a plus

The important details
Location: Remotely based in the UK, Germany or on the east coast of the United States (you must be legally authorized to work in the US, we cannot sponsor visas)
Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 per year
Equity: a significant number of shares in the company vesting over 4 years
Annual Leave: 24 days per year + US Federal holidays.
