Liminal Health works with employers to provide health coaching and personalised content to their staff affected by chronic conditions, activating behaviour change.

The role of Digital Content Manager is responsible for building content assets across email, website, app and intranet, for our client facing propositions, ensuring content is regularly updated and our digital experience for users is engaging and relevant. The role will also work with different teams across Liminal Health to recommend and implement changes to our content systems that will allow Liminal Health to deliver 'best in class' digital content on an ongoing basis.

The role will work closely with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders, including client services and the leadership team, to research and identify opportunities for content innovation and develop the Digital Content components for any new service and offering.

The Digital Content Manager also ensures that our client facing digital content supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.

This role would suit a self-starting, enthusiastic individual, with experience in content strategy, content creation and management, who’s passionate about prioritising health and wellbeing to improve people’s lives, and is keen to work in an exciting and dynamic startup.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • In line with agreed priorities, manage the digital content schedule and roadmap in Liminal Health’s website, WebApp and media;
  • Build and maintain excellent, durable content that is fit for purpose across all Liminal Health’s proposition based media channels;

  • Work with third parties content providers to assess content opportunities and integrate into Liminal Health’s offering as needed;

  • Benchmark with other digital content regularly and ensure Liminal Health’s digital content is innovative and engaging on an ongoing basis;

  • Manage digital campaigns in line with Liminal Health’s content strategy as well as further shape and evolve the strategy as we grow;

  • Work with business development, client services teams and others to set up and maintain digital content solutions as required;

  • Brief the business development, client services teams and others on digital content issues as required;

  • Ensure compliance with legal, clinical and quality standards;

  • Carry out a structured programme of content reviews and evaluation as part of a disciplined content management process;

  • Carry out other ad hoc tasks commensurate with level of responsibility as requested.

Experience, attributes and knowledge required

  • Professional and / or personal experience with, and enthusiasm for, health and wellbeing
  • Experience with content strategy such as content audits of competitive and comparatives, looking at gap analysis, and channel and content theme effectiveness

  • Experience of creating digital content across multiple platforms and all major social networks, including writing of blog posts and sourcing of inexpensive visuals (photo / illustration)

  • Good visual sense and design skills

  • Experience creating partnerships with publishers and other third parties - influencer outreach essential

  • Ability to come up with creative solutions to client problems

  • Customer-focused

  • Self-motivated

  • Able to work as part of a team or individually

  • Great time management and prioritisation skills, with the experience of working within a team and challenging workload

  • Excellent writing, spelling and grammar skills, and attention to detail

Technical Skills Required

  • Technically proficient – able to learn new tools and platforms quickly
  • Experience of various Content Management Systems (social media manager, hub/web management, email)

  • Canva, photoshop, and illustrator experience preferred

  • Good professional or personal understanding of SEO e.g. experience of keyword research to identify terms that support inbound activity

  • Good understanding of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and G Suite

  • Image editing skills using photoshop or similar


UK-wide. Liminal Health operates as a remote-only company, which means you can work from anywhere! We have weekly team meetings which employees must attend over video conferencing, but your hours are your own to set.

Compensation & benefits

  • £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience

  • Equity option

  • Cash contribution to home office set-up

  • 25 days holiday (plus 1 day each year up to maximum of 33 days)
