Who we are?

Skin Analytics is a healthcare company building a clinical quality diagnostic service for melanoma using Artificial Intelligence. We’ve won a number of awards both here in and in Australia and are adding to our technology team.

We are a small agile team of 7 with ambitions to grow quickly. We want to work with smart people who are self motivated to get things done.

What will you been doing?

Our apps are full stack Javascript (Node.js / Express for backend, Angular 4 for frontend and moving towards React / React Native) living on AWS.

We are looking for a mid-level enthusiastic front-end engineer to work with our growing technology team. You will be in charge of

  • Building new features on our commercial platforms (both web and native mobile apps eventually) with the rest of the tech team

  • Supporting and maintenance for our existing application and customers

  • Working / participating to our internal R&D on new components

Must Have

  • 3+ years experience developing web applications with dynamic, JS-driven interface

  • Strong experience with modern Javascript frameworks (Angular 4 or React)

  • Strong experience with CSS (and preprocessors like Sass or PostCSS), RWD, HTML

  • Experience using modern tools like Webpack, Yarn, Babel, Karma and Bootstrap

  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs

  • Strong sense of design and UX , experience with design tools (Photoshop, Sketch)

  • Ability to work efficiently and iterate often to produce high-quality code

  • Good sense of humour!

Nice to have

  • Mobile app development (React-Native / Android)

  • Backend Node.js experience (Express)

  • Exposure to containerization tools (Docker)
