We are revolutionising flexible working in the NHS and are helping NHS organisations save millions (and counting), by connecting them to an increasing number of flexible bank workers. We help grow their staff banks, remove reliance and spending on locum agencies, and aim to improve the general experience of flexible bank working.

The Role

We are looking for a Front End Engineer to join us and help shape the future of our product. Working closely with the wider engineering team, you will pioneer front end development and be relied upon as one of our greatest technical expert

Key Responsibilities

  • Contributing to building our frontend frameworks using ReactJS
  • Improving the performance and reliability of our applications - building fast, secure experiences
  • Communicating closely with developers to help read, understand and debug code
  • Working closely with an open-minded and creative team in an agile set up to develop features around our roadmap
  • Discovering and implementing UX best practices to improve user experience

Ideal Profile

  • 3+ years experience with React or other JS frameworks
  • A desire for solving complex engineering problems at scale
  • A high-degree of independence and drive
  • A strong knowledge of API integration and security practices and
  • Comfortable working with constant change and product evolution
  • Constructively collaborate with teams across engineering, design and product
  • Working knowledge of the entire web stack
  • Attention to detail, especially around performance, accessibility, reliability and security

Salary range £30,000 — 40,000
