Do you want to create great games that also benefit society? We’re a UK-based, female-founded startup indie games company, and we released our first game in 2020. We have some exciting contracts secured for our next set of games and we’re looking for a mid-senior game developer to help us develop them.

Play Well For Life creates games across a range of platforms to educate and train the skills people need to lead happier, healthier lives. We value diversity and strive to create an inclusive environment for all. We’re fully remote and currently have strong design and art teams and are looking to strengthen our dev team.

  • Strong C# experience (at least two years, Unity or similar)
  • Interest in web-based game development
  • Ability to supervise and mentor more junior dev team members
  • A good attitude to problem solving together
  • A preference to offer what needs to be done, rather than needing to be told.
  • Preference for working together to get agreement for new ideas rather than going it alone.

  • Experience with Godot Engine or other web-based game engine
  • Experience with data analytics
  • Experience with REST APIs
  • Experience with databases (SQL or noSQL)
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • Experience with Java
