The role

We are hiring an experienced performance marketing specialist to supercharge our paid acquisition initiatives. As a member of our senior management team, you will play an important role in:

1) strategising marketing and commercial initiatives

2) executing and driving paid acquisition initiatives

Responsibilities

Define acquisition strategies, targets and budgets across paid digital channels.

Setup and launch campaigns from scratch; collaborate with team to test audiences, propositions, landing pages and creatives.

Diagnose and optimise paid channel performance to drive ROI.

Collaborate with team to ensure consistent brand voice and message across all marketing channels.

Design and implement robust tracking plans across customer journeys. Work with product specialists to optimise UX and conversion funnels. Report on campaign performance and communicate insights.

Conduct research to determine channel benchmarks and forecasts.

You will be an expert in paid digital acquisition channels (including Paid Search, Paid Social and Display) particularly within the e-commerce and/or D2C context.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years previous growth experience, ideally at a startup.

In-depth knowledge of all major paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search, retargeting, social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more), and content distribution and placement networks like Outbrain and Taboola.

Experience with community building and management. Ability to engage with and manage influencers a plus.

Content and inbound marketing experience.

Excellent communicator with the ability to sell and convince. You will manage all relationships with vendors and ensure we get the most efficient cost possible.

Experience in handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results.

You have hands-on digital skills and high data literacy, but also a broader awareness for brand, product and business economics.

Experience with both startup and larger budgets is advantageous.
