Job Description

Growth Marketing Lead

Ruuby is looking for a results-orientated marketer to lead our marketing efforts. The candidate will be responsible for helping Ruuby to design, develop and implement our media strategy, and grow the digital team over time. The candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, with a wider understanding of offline marketing, branding, positioning and community building. The candidate will explore and test new channels, analyse the user acquisition costs, and refocus efforts on the successful channels.

We are looking for a technical, analytical marketer, with a creative flair. The candidate will ideally have start-up or agency experience.The role and team will grow, and the candidate will build a multi-channel marketing and growth team.

Ruuby is an on-demand beauty bookings platform, offering five star beauty services to clients in their homes, offices or hotels. We are a tech-enabled platform, and launched in London in 2015. With over 500 beauty therapists, and served over 50,000 customers. We are a rapidly growing business, and are backed by prominent angels and the Founders Factory Accelerator. We are a small, incredibly passionate team, excited about the opportunity to harness the on-demand beauty booking space.

Key responsibilities

Architect, develop and implement the digital marketing strategy

Refine and develop our current growth metrics

Plan and coordinate digital element of Ruuby marketing activities – seek appropriate information from the relevant team members

Manage social media, website content, email campaigns, award submissions, events, webinars, newsletters, PPC (AdWords, LinkedIn, and Facebook)

Work closely with the recruitment team to effectively execute campaigns for efficient beauty therapist onboading

Content creation

Perform analysis and review AdWords and Google Analytics performance

Manage and work along-side third party agencies

Experience and skills

Have experience of working in a lean and agile environment with hands-on experience of relevant techniques and tools

Proven experience of digital marketing, including strategy, building, managing and writing content, managing campaigns and website CMS

Analytical Skills – strong attention to detail and ability to deal with ambiguity and apply logical, structured approaches to solving problems.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with ability to articulate complex ideas to a range of audiences, simply. Flexible engagement style with ability to tailor according to the audience.
