Where we’re at…

We’re unrd and we tell immersive stories that utilise the full potential of your smartphone – all in real-time. Our mission is to create the world's leading mobile-first entertainment brand.

After launching our first product Last Seen Online (www.unrd.co/lastseenonline), we’re now in the process of launching a platform for immersive fiction.

The business is has recently been backed by one of the worlds leading games VC's, along with a host of angels from the gaming, media, movies and entertainment industries.

As a result, we’re now looking for a talented and experienced full stack developer to come and join the team.

Who we’re looking for...

We’re looking for someone who can work with the founding team on bringing to life the vision and tech pipeline.

You'll be a hands on full stack developer that can appreciate the long term objective of the company whilst also being able to code on a day to day basis.

Initially, you'll be working with our offshore dev teams to deliver on the immediate needs of the platform. Going forward, we'll be looking to you to hire this team internally whilst also leading the prototyping of the next stage of the product. The future of the product involves Ai / MLP, so an interest in this a plus!

Beyond this:

  • You’ll have experience managing a team of front and backend developers, assigning tasks and assessing code quality

  • You can work in an agile environment

  • You’ve had experience scaling a product that can experience huge volumes of traffic day to day

  • You’re happy to own the product pipeline, you can see things strategically but also can spot tactical opportunities to improve a product

  • Importantly, you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty and code where needed

  • Experience in gaming or a video startup is a plus

  • Experience in early stage startups is a plus

What we offer…

We’re fresh out the of the stable, so you’ll be working on an exciting young startup that’s disrupting the entertainment business. We offer:

  • The opportunity to be part of a product from its inception and be hands on its development

  • The opportunity to hire a dev team and inform the culture of the business as we grow

  • Opportunity to grow into a CTO role as the business evolves

  • A relaxed environment to work in - we’re in the middle of East London, Old Street

  • Salary negotiable, dependent on experience, with equity further down the line

  • 25 days holidays, plus your birthday off

  • ….And we finish at 3pm on Friday’s, unless something’s on fire!

Salary range £45,000 — 60,000
