About Ticket Tailor

Ticket Tailor is an event ticketing platform that gives event organisers the freedom to take ticketing in-house without the need for a middle-man or agency.

We launched five years ago and have been growing steadily ever since, helping over 10,000 organisers sell over four million tickets to events all over the world. We are proud to be a small team as we think this enables us to provide better service than the competition. We love not having investors as our real revenue makes us sustainable, and we don’t have to answer to anyone except ourselves and our clients!

The core team consists of:

  • Jonny, the founder, who looks after the business side and generally sticks his nose into everything

  • Jamie, the super smart tech lead who builds our new features and makes sure we keep going as we grow

  • Patrick, the talented creative director responsible for making everything look nice and clear

  • Lorant, the first employee, who manages the customer support team and keeps our customers smiling

  • Alfie, the fluffy cavachon, who generally hangs around for food and cuddles (mostly food)

About the role

This role is for a full stack web developer with at least three years’ experience working on both the front-end and back-end of applications. Being a small team you will get involved in all aspects of the product process – from ideas, to build and deployment, and customer feedback. You will architect, develop and build new features and maintain existing functionality on our current platform, as well as develop entirely new projects and business initiatives. You are excited about getting stuff done, making progress and essentially helping our customers achieve more!

Things we are excited to start working on:

  • Checkout redesign to speed up ticket buying and increase ticket purchase conversions

  • Admin panel redesign (incl. responsive) to save our event organisers precious time

  • Weebly integration to make it easy for weebly website owners to sell tickets from their website

  • Optimising the front-end of our website for speed, mobile, and accessibility

  • Enhance our check-in app to give super powers to the door staff at events

  • Payment integrations so we can appeal to more event organisers

  • Internal admin tools to relieve the Customer Support teams of headaches

  • A JavaScript framework
