Flow Bio is a young human performance startup based in London backed by some of the world's best investors, including Possible Ventures, HAX, Entrepreneur First, the co-founder of Oura, Skype and Athletic Brewing Company.

We are on a mission to decode the next level of human performance by using molecular data to inform an athlete's health, training and nutrition decisions.

The Product Lead role is an excellent opportunity to join Flow Bio, where you will work with the co-founders and early-stage team to shape the end to end customer experience from the ground up.

Whether optimising user flows, scoping out brand new feature sets, or designing our app and pro team services, you will be responsible for shaping the product alongside helping our customers succeed. This is a senior role where you will touch and influence all the key business areas from mobile design to industrial design and monetisation.

FLOWBIOs first product, the FLOWPATCH, provides athletes with never-before-available data such as total body fluid and electrolyte loss. Our development partners include some of Europe's leading sport supplement brands, a pro-cycling Team, and several TeamGB athletes.

This role would suit a Product Lead with strong UX design experience who wants full creative control as our first design hire.

. You will:

  • Develop the end to end product vision and experience with support from key stakeholders.

  • Create, collect and prioritise user stories and business requirements.

  • Develop user journeys and interactive prototypes, and ensure testing before deployment.

  • Deliver the final UX and UI designs with support from the product team.

  • Conduct market and user research to shape hypotheses that will deliver value to the customer and business.

  • Develop clear success KPIs track product analytics, and result to the team.

  • Manage product delivery in collaboration with product and engineering.

The Dream Candidate

Our dream candidate will be passionate about working with athletes and fitness enthusiasts to help decode their fitness and health potential.

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in UX/UI design of mobile apps from concept to growth stage with millions of active users

  • Experience designing for behaviour change to encourage new healthy habits -  and reduce bad habits!

  • Familiarity presenting complex data through simple and elegant data visualisations.

  • Proficient in prototyping and rapidly mocking up ideas and testing them.

  • A good handle of the mobile development stack.

  • Comfortable navigating the design environment (Figma, Framer, Sketch)

  • Familiarity with product development tools (Trello, JIRA, Framer, Figma)

  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (Google Analytics, Firebases, Amplitude)

  • Experience managing remote teams

  • Good time and task management.

Salary range £45,000 — 65,000
