Are you the person in your friendship group who lives to plan every detail of your holiday? Right down to scheduling the taxi to the airport, you’re on it. Nothing gets missed.

Do you have a spreadsheet for everything? Do you love discovering new tools to help you to automate your life and work?

What if we told you that you could bring that super-power for killer operations and logistics to a job with a purpose: delivering a world-class programme to Europe’s most ambitious start-up founders.

You don’t have to be a ‘what if’ person...

What we do

Entrepreneur First exists to identify the next generation of the world’s most successful start-up founders. Think Larry Page and Sergey Brin, before they had even met one another and come up with the idea behind Google.

We run a company building programme, enabling Larry to meet Sergey, develop an idea and raise funding. We call this Talent Investing.

Who we are

We’re Europe’s largest talent investor, with a portfolio of companies valued at over $2 billion and a success streak of launching 300 companies. We have 6 offices around the world, recently raised £115 million to our global fund and are set to become a global powerhouse for emerging tech companies.

We’re tenacious, passionate and supportive of the entrepreneurial community.

We’ve achieved a lot since we were founded in London back in 2011. None of this would have been possible without one thing: killer ops.

Who we’re looking for

The Programme Analyst will help us to deliver excellent customer service to our founders, starting from the moment they come to interview with us. It’s likely that some or all of the following will apply to you:

  • Solid operational experience: you might have a career history in operations or logistics, have organised events before, or just be keen to get stuck in and learn

  • You love working with a small but committed team, and pride yourself on your ability to communicate clearly: both to your colleagues and your customers

  • You understand the power of operational excellence and enjoy constantly improving processes to ensure they work smoothly

  • You are an infinite learner, keen to learn from those around you

  • You are comfortable handling unknown or changing priorities at short notice and like to take initiative

  • You love providing great customer service and might have experience of a customer-facing role

  • You enjoy discovering the latest digital tools to make your work better and may have experience with Slack, Notion and/ or Zapier

What you’ll do

You will have a front-row seat to seeing what it takes to turn the world’s most ambitious technical talent into founders of the world’s leading tech start-ups.

  • Selection: You will support our Talent Team in its investment decision-making, reviewing applications and shadowing interviews, as well as supporting the delivery of our interview process.

  • Form: You will support the Form Manager in delivering the logistics of the Form Programme, which brings together 80+ individuals and turns them into teams ready to pitch to EF’s investment committee. You will be tasked with coordinating events to facilitate team-building, as well as owning key operational processes such as company incorporation.

  • Launch: You will support the Launch Manager in delivering the logistics of the Launch Programme. You will play a key role in the delivery of our Investment Committee process where EF makes investment decisions into the companies, as well as Demo Day, where our teams pitch to 400+ seed investors.

What you’ll get from us

  • A competitive salary benchmarked to the local market and a share of the fund’s “carry” - any profit the fund returns

  • A buzzing community full of technical founders creating globally impactful businesses

  • Collaboration with a growth minded, diverse team in Europe, Asia and Canada

  • Generous holidays: in addition to 23 days holiday, we also shut down for two weeks over Christmas and New Year

  • A Learning & Development allowance to purchase any product or service that will contribute to your personal or professional development

  • A Wellness allowance to spend on things enhancing your health and wellbeing, e.g. gym membership, yoga classes, subscription to Headspace etc

  • Enhanced maternity and paternity pay, plus broader leave policies. We care about our team and enabling the right balance between home and working life
